Turbo/XL is now available. This is a direct replacement for Artera. We will ultimately discontinue support for Artera so anyone running it currently, please follow the link below for easy instructions on how to upgrade.

As we previously mentioned, Artera just did not work out. Although it did work, and it worked well...  it was inconsistent and therefore we cannot rely on it to perform as it should. Turbo/XL is a new software module developed by an entirely different software company. Its smaller and takes up much less room on your PC. It downloads faster, installs MUCH easier and it just works and works well.

Anyone who experienced Artera and suffered through its idiosyncrasies, please don't be deterred. Turbo/XL works and it installs much easier.

Turbo/XL is also free, just as Artera was. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and please know that the new software is definitely worth a try.

Its been a few months now that Artera has been in operation and we're finding that, while it works very well, its not working very well for everyone. Because this software is generating a higher-than-normal amount of technical support demand, we have decided to deploy a new (different) brand of High Speed plug-in.

This new plug-in module is called TURBO/XL and has been thoroughly tested. We've found it to be significantly better in several areas.  Not only is it faster, but the overall software module is much smaller. During our testing, we've found that TURBO/XL just flat out works. It installs much easier, does not stop working for no reason like Artera did, and actually speeds the Internet up more than Artera does. Also, it runs in the background out of your sight. Its easily disabled, uninstalled, reinstalled, etc. It seems that no matter what you do to it, you can't break it!!

We expect to deploy this new software the week of July 4. Please keep an eye on this website for the announcement.

Please know that its very clear to us that you may have had a rough ride with Artera. Also please know that we will help you individually (if you require) to uninstall Artera and install the new TURBO/XL module making it VERY simple and as little hassle for you as possible. Its definitely worth the effort and promise to make this as simple and quick as possible for all.
